Business Analyst

One Group. Six brands. Unlimited possibilities.

Five different automotive brands. Group Functions. Trade specialists.

Volkswagen Group UK is wholly owned by Volkswagen AG and is one of the most successful automotive manufacturers in the world, with some of the most iconic brands that the industry has ever seen. But we're also a great Sales & Marketing operation in our own right.

What really sets us apart is how we work – not how many vehicles we sell. VWG UK has a unique culture, built on diversity, difference and a friendly rivalry that inspires us all. Across our brands, we learn from each other, encourage each other and regularly challenge each other to think differently. Our people have a true passion for what they do, a genuine desire to go further for customers and to give their own careers real momentum at the same time.

The Automotive industry is undergoing a huge transformation and change in the way people look to own or acquire mobility solutions. There's nowhere in the business more fast-paced, challenging or varied than our IT department, who are at the centre of understanding this change and what it means to our business systems. We're experts in our business processes and systems and leaders of vast change programmes. Be part of a new team with fresh thinking, we're investing in new technology and have clear strategic plans in place for our future.

We're looking for a Business Analyst to join our team on a permanent basis. In this role you will support the business by helping them to transform operational objectives into business solutions by gathering, analysing and translating their specific needs into clear, unambiguous requirements.  You will support these requirements through the project change activity.

You will be a BA who has the ability to translate business needs into high level and detailed business requirements, to then work with the Architecture and Development Team to convert them into workable solutions that resolve existing issues to make system improvements to support business objectives. Familiarity in both Agile and Waterfall project methodologies would be an advantage.  To be successful in this role you will be proficient in working with the business to identify and describe the right change required to drive efficiency and add value.

We're paving the way to a more technologically advanced future, join us in this journey.

So what can we offer you? As an inclusive employer we know people value different things, so along with a competitive salary, car and discretionary bonus, we offer a wide range of flexible benefits to suit you and your lifestyle including hybrid working.

At Volkswagen we are proud to say we have a unique culture, built on diversity, difference and a determination to succeed that inspires us all. Across our brands and group functions, we are striving to learn from each other, encourage each other and regularly challenge each other to think differently. Our people have a true passion for what they do, a genuine desire to go further for customers and to give their own careers real momentum at the same time.
