Data Analytics Engineer

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Customer Experience team as a Data Analytics Manager. This fascinating role involves designing, developing and managing high quality analytics solutions – working with stakeholders across Group functions, IT and multiple departments within the five VWG UK brands.

A few of the many key activities in this role include; Working to (and creating where needed) best practises on data quality and governance (including testing to ensure accuracy), managing and collaborating with data source owners and BI/data visualisation resources to ensure the desired analytics solution is achieved (end-to-end ownership), and designing and developing complex ETL processes (automated where possible) with a focus on adding value and creating data assets that are reusable.

The ideal candidate should have the ability to clearly communicate data to both technical and non-technical audiences, an understanding of data modelling concepts and best practises and the ability to work in an agile way (iterative developments, able to pivot and change focus if required).
