We have an exciting new opportunity for a Direct Sales Programme Manager in our Direct Sales team on a Fixed Term contract. In this role, you will be responsible for the delivery and future development roadmap for the Retail Agency/Direct Sales, Ecommerce, Connected Car and Accessory Sales projects in the Brand.  Successful project & programme management of these Channels & Programmes working with Group & Brand functions to deliver on-time, in budget and to a level which achieves the commercial objectives.

Some of the many activities you will cover in this role are; task ownership and responsibility for operational matters relating to the traditional business model whilst also having an active involvement in business transformation projects and workstreams such as eCommerce and Agency, Accessory sales responsibility – through ensuring Accessories sit correctly and comprehensively within the Agency/Direct/Ecommerce programme, and Vision & Roadmap Development – lead the development of the future roadmap and vision for these programmes, gaining stakeholder agreement and buy-in across Group and Brand.

The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of digital technologies and how their application can transform customer experience, the ability to quickly develop strong effective relationships with commercial, creative and technical people, and proven stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills. You should also have a proven track record of delivering cross-functional projects in an organisation of similar complexity to VWG UK and its dealer network and experience in delivery of business process change.
