HR Insight Analyst

One Group. Six brands. Unlimited possibilities.

Volkswagen Group is one of the most successful automotive manufacturers in the world, with some of the most iconic brands that the industry has ever seen. But we're also a great Sales, Marketing and Digital operation in our own right. Last year over 350,000 cars and vans were registered from the Volkswagen Group UK brands, achieving a market share of over 22% and confirming our position as the leading automotive company in the UK.

With a global target to be balance-sheet CO2 neutral by the year 2050, we are leading the automotive transition to zero emission battery electric vehicles. We're focusing on key strategic initiatives to help us become the leading provider of mobility services in the UK, digital sales, the next generation of aftersales and new efficient distribution structures to name a few.

We have a unique culture, built on difference and a friendly rivalry that inspires us all. Across our business, we learn from each other, encourage each other and regularly challenge each other to think differently. Our people have a true passion for what they do, a genuine desire to go further for customers and to give their own careers real momentum at the same time.

We have an exciting new opportunity to join our People team as a HR Insight Analyst on a full-time, permanent basis. Reporting into the Benefits and Pensions Manager, this role will create reports that provide insight into progress towards key business metrics, along with narratives that capture the people landscape across the organisation.  This role will have full scope and autonomy to build & improve our people data capability. You'll partner with centres of excellence across the People team such as Talent Acquisition, Reward, Diversity & Inclusion and Talent & Development to produce quarterly people metrics as well as other bespoke ad-hoc reports that will provide insight to support our HR Strategy and workforce planning initiatives. You'll support the wider Reward and People Data team on annual pay and bonus activity and work with finance colleagues on the accurate reporting of headcount across our changing organisation.

You'll be an experienced analyst, with excellent Microsoft Excel & Powerpoint skills, as well as experience of using Power BI. You'll have the confidence & ability to consume large amounts of complex data and turn it into meaningful insight to a range of audiences including up to Board of Management level. You'll be a collaborative team player, enjoying working with a variety of stakeholders within the People team and across the wider business. You'll be a confident and articulate communicator, challenge & clarify where required as well as being comfortable presenting information to all levels across the business.

So what can we offer you? As an inclusive employer we know people value different things, so along with a competitive salary and discretionary bonus, we offer a wide range of flexible benefits to suit you and your lifestyle, including hybrid working.
