Sales Planning Manager

We have a brilliant new opportunity to join our Product Planning team as a Sales Planning Manager. You would be responsible for the management of the brand's car flow to achieve required sales targets by model and channel. Responsible for ensuring correct model volume and channel planning to minimise stock ageing, tactical costs and maximise RoS and liquidity for the brand. As well as managing and influencing the sales performance of the Brand by influencing and gaining agreement with a range of stakeholders within the Brand, the Factory and overall UK Group.  Ensuring that sales performance in the market is met from a Planning perspective by external review.

Some of the activities you will cover in your role include; ensuring any revised ways of working are captured formally, introduced into the VWGUK/Brand processes and recorded in-line with Audit & Legal guidelines, managing aggregation of the brand's in month sales forecast across all sub channels and reporting of the forecast to senior management and factory sales region, and highlighting trends and information to senior management within the Brand  to provide a direction to the business from a sales, order take and stock perspective.

The ideal candidate should have excellent analytical skills with a logical and methodical approach, ability to influence and negotiate to a senior level, and the ability to identify risks and opportunities and plan to address both. You should also be able to demonstrate commercial acumen and market insight experience, as well as confidence engaging key stakeholders, and well developed core management competencies.
