We have a great new opportunity to join our Product Planning team as a Sales Planning Support Manager. This role is responsible for supporting the wider Sales and Supply Planning team with insight and analysis required to manage the brand's car flow to achieve required sales targets by model and channel. There is significant emphasis placed on new model market introduction (MI) and Start of Production (SOP) management of a complex product range and how this links to the sales plan. This is a core role, integral to providing commercial insight and risk/opportunity identification in the Brand, as well as monitoring trends and performing a key role in the annual 5 year long-term planning round.

Some of the activities you would cover in this role are; monitoring sales/order targets by model and channel (including Direct sales channels) and tracking brand performance against volume objectives, including production of the monthly Sales Planning Pack updates and supporting the Sales Planning Manager in the co-ordination of the Brand Medium Term Planning or PR/LAP (Factory planning/product/channel) process from a Planning and Supply perspective and liaise with other key stakeholders. Also, as part of VWG UK's 2nd line of defence within ECMS & PCMS programmes, adopt responsibility for supporting the management, steering and control of Environmental & Product compliance relevant activities; ensuring continued compliance with VWG Policies.

The ideal candidate should have advanced Excel and/or reporting tool (BI) knowledge, the ability to identify risks and opportunities and plans to address both and excellent analytical skills with a logical and methodical approach. You should also have proven experience of applying commercial acumen and market insight to management information, experience of working and delivering in a high pressured environment and the ability to deliver commercially relevant analysis, reporting and insight.
