Tactical Planning Manager

One Group. Six brands. Unlimited possibilities.

We've noticed that ŠKODA cars are driven by a particular type of person. It's nothing to do with age, income or any other social demographic, but attitude. Our customers love driving something different because they're driven by something different. Just like us.

And right now we are at a pivotal moment as the focus is shifting massively towards CO2 free, connected cars. We are really only just at the beginning as ŠKODA is leading the charge for affordable, electrified mobility.

Great products, potential for a global career, limitless opportunities – you'll find all that here at Volkswagen Group UK. What really sets us apart is how we work – not how many vehicles we sell. Volkswagen Group UK has a unique culture, built on diversity, difference and a friendly rivalry that inspires us all. Across our brands and group functions, we learn from each other, encourage each other and regularly challenge each other to think differently. Our people have a true passion for what they do, a genuine desire to go further for customers and to give their own careers real momentum at the same time.

We have a brilliant new opportunity for a Tactical Planning Manager to join our Product Planning team. This role is responsible for creation, development, management and forecasting of brand tactical incentive budgets & campaigns to help achieve brand sales targets by seasonality and model within selected sales channels. As well as responsible for liaison with other functions, as required, to ensure aggregated Tactical reporting and bonus payments are achieved.

Some of the many activities covered in this role include; ensuring campaigns can be deployed effectively and that all relevant stakeholders are aware, providing timely information to ensure there is accountability for the management of (Brand Planning) or liaison with (Direct Sales) the Campaign Payments function. You'll need to ensure timely and accurate payment and reconciliation for audit of all amounts due, and providing recommendations of where gains in efficiency and effectiveness could be made whilst ensuring all commercial objectives are met. Also, as part of VWG UK's 2nd line of defence within ECMS & PCMS programmes, adopt responsibility for supporting the management, steering and control of Environmental & Product compliance relevant activities; ensuring continued compliance with VWG Policies.

The ideal candidate should have strong numerical and analytical skills, commercial acumen and awareness, excellent communication skills, effective influencing skill and good interpersonal skills.

So what can we offer you? We know people value different things, so along with a competitive salary, brand new car and discretionary bonus, we offer a wide range of flexible benefits to suit you and your lifestyle, including hybrid working.

Here at ŠKODA we're driven by something different, are you?
